Title – Principal Software Engineer

Location – Ottawa, Ontario (Onsite only)

Client – Thales DIS USA

Budget – 30 CAD on C2C (only Contracts preferred for this role)

Experience – 6+ years

Duration – 8 months (can be extendable, based on need & performance)

Shift - (8 AM EST to 4 PM EST)

Job Description:

• 6+ years experience
• Proven experience in high-level programming languages, like Java, Dotnet core, Golang, python/scripting
• Linux (OS) and Postgre (DB) experience
• Enhance existing application, as required, to support new functionality in CDP
• Resolve problems with Maestro software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and fix problems in non-production environments
• Troubleshoot, isolate, and fix production problems
• Understand and support the existing deployment model
• Provide technical support to other engineering teams and to end customers
• Determine, develop, test, and implement configuration changes to the Maestro software
• Understand existing testing framework, and any automation, which exists. With any fixes or enhancements, develop the required testing automation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

Salary: $28.30-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
